On Jeane Kirkpatrick

The death of former UN Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick brings to closure the fate of another member of President Ronald Reagan’s administration. Kirkpatrick has been accoladed by many figures as George Shulzt and Condoleezza Rice.

She was known for being clear minded and straightforward. I remember some of her commentaries to reflect a very logical style of presentation. A liberal Democrat at first she changed parties championing human rights and democracy.

She is considered to be a forbearer of the neo-conservative movement.

Historically she helped cut off aid to Nicaragua and supported a military junta in El Salvador. She also made distinction between authoritarian regimes and totalitarianism. She stated a preference for the former of which I concur.

Never the less Jeane Kirkpatrick exits this world as another ambiguous statement to the abuse of SCORCHED EARTH that her mentor Ronald Reagan initiated. Her praise by the choir sits well only in certain churches.

Her true role in TOTALITARIAN ABUSES HERE IN THE UNITED STATES WILL DECIDE HER STATUS.
